Enjoy a guided tour of Hobart, taking in Salamanca Place, Battery Point, Sullivans Cove and the beautiful Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens before travelling to the summit of kunanyi/Mount Wellington for breathtaking views across the city and Derwent River. Itinerary
Arrive in Hobart and meet your Tour Director before enjoying a welcome lunch. This afternoon discover Tasmania’s capital city on a guided sightseeing tour featuring Salamanca Place, historic Battery Point, Sullivans Cove and the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Later, weather permitting, travel to the summit of kunanyi/Mount Wellington where spectacular panoramic views stretch across Hobart, the Derwent River and surrounding mountains. Check into your accommodation and enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travellers.

Travel through the scenic Tasman Peninsula to Port Arthur Historic Site, Australia’s best preserved convict settlement and one of the nation’s most important heritage attractions. Explore the fascinating buildings and grounds, enjoy an included harbour cruise and learn about the stories of the convicts and settlers who shaped Tasmania’s early history. Following lunch, return to Hobart via Eaglehawk Neck, stopping to view the dramatic rock formations of Tasman Arch and Devil’s Kitchen before returning to your hotel.

This morning visit the famous Salamanca Market, where local producers, artists and craftspeople showcase the very best of Tasmania. After time to browse the stalls, travel into the scenic Huon Valley, renowned for its orchards, vineyards and picturesque rural landscapes. Enjoy a picnic lunch before visiting the Tahune AirWalk. Wander along the elevated walkway and viewing platforms for spectacular views across the forest canopy and Huon River. Return to Hobart later this afternoon and enjoy dinner at your hotel.
