Step back in time and experience one of the world’s most remarkable archaeological discoveries on this fascinating 3 day getaway to Canberra. Featuring the internationally acclaimed Terracotta Warriors Exhibition, this tour combines history, culture, fine food, and unique regional experiences in the heart of the nation’s capital.
Travelling from Sydney through the picturesque Southern Highlands, enjoy a relaxing morning tea stop before a delicious lunch at the beautiful Fedra Olive Grove. Upon arrival in Canberra, visit the Royal Australian Mint and discover the stories behind Australia’s coin production before settling into comfortable accommodation at the historic Hotel Kurrajong.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to the National Museum of Australia to explore the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors Exhibition. Marvel at the ancient treasures, learn about the legacy of China’s first emperor, and gain insight into one of the greatest archaeological finds in history. Dear On Course Tours Thank you so much for the wonderful 3 day trip to Oberon. It was great to go to Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens and “Bebeah” at Mt Wilson on the first day. Mayfield Gardens (the full gardens) did not disappoint and the weather was so kind to us. The rhododendrons and the crab apples were certainly on display for us. Jimmy did a great job looking after us all. The accommodation was great as well all the good food! Going to Everglades on the day we came home was an added bonus and some time in Leura was great as well. I was even home in time to plant out a replacement Daphne that I had got. l am now looking forward to the Yamba and Grafton trip – here’s hoping the weather will be kind to us. I would love next year’s program when it has been completed. I hear it is nearly finished.

Hi Kerry Great trip as usual in the Alps. Hans was able to secure 2nd spot on the bus line and we were away very quickly leaving lines of buses behind us. The motel was excellent and the food service the quality A1. The chap in charge of the Bar and foor service, lan, was most attentive and with the help of Hans did a wonderful job of keeping everyone happy. The escorted Tour of Albury by Allan was one of the best I have encountered. The Hibernian Hotel was ‘spot on’, the hotel was spacious and the food perfect. The Red Stag Deer Farm was without doubt one of the highlights of the trip. The complex looks over the valley with sweeping views. The owners gave a very informative and entertaining talk and we really could have stayed longer. I believe it would be an ideal venue for a bit of variety to say have morning tea at Bright and then go to the Red Stag for Iunch and a talk by them. They did well out of the bus with people buying lots of their products. Most of the people on the bus have done the same Bright trip previously in one form or another and the inclusion of this I feel would draw other ‘past’ travellers to do the same trip again. I know I can speak for everyone, it was a top trip.
