Tour description
Escape to Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast on this relaxing five day holiday combining sparkling waterways, charming hinterland towns, local flavours, wildlife and some of the region’s most celebrated attractions.
After flying from Sydney to Maroochydore, we begin with a scenic introduction to the coastline before boarding a relaxing Coastal Cruises seafood lunch cruise from Mooloolaba. With four nights in the one hotel, there is plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the Sunshine Coast at a comfortable pace.
Venture into the lush hinterland to discover Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, where magnificent rainforest and beautiful views provide the perfect setting for morning tea. We continue to Maleny for a cheese tasting and lunch before visiting picturesque Montville, with chocolate tasting and free time to browse its inviting shops and galleries.
Another day brings the colour and atmosphere of the famous Eumundi Markets, followed by a visit to the Ginger Factory at Yandina for a tasting, lunch and time to explore. We also call into Nutworks to discover another favourite local producer.
No Sunshine Coast holiday would be complete without Noosa. Enjoy free time along Hastings Street before taking to the water for a leisurely Noosa River cruise with lunch.
Our final day includes a visit to Australia Zoo, with time to discover its incredible wildlife before returning to Mooloolaba for lunch by the water and our flight home.
With flights, accommodation, touring, experiences and meals as listed, this is a wonderfully varied Sunshine Coast getaway.

Itinerary
Our Sunshine Coast escape begins with a flight from Sydney to Maroochydore. On arrival, we meet our coach and enjoy a short sightseeing tour along the coastline as we make our way to Mooloolaba.
At approximately 12.30pm, we arrive at the wharf to board Coastal Cruises. Sit back and enjoy a relaxing seafood lunch cruise, taking in the beautiful waterways and coastal atmosphere of Mooloolaba.
After returning to the wharf, we transfer to the Holiday Inn Sunshine Coast, our base for the next four nights. There is time to settle in and relax before we gather together for dinner.

After breakfast, we travel into the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland for a visit to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. Surrounded by subtropical rainforest, we enjoy morning tea and time to appreciate the scenery.
We continue to Maleny Cheese, where a tasting introduces us to delicious local produce before enjoying lunch in the café.
This afternoon we travel to the charming hinterland village of Montville. Our visit includes a chocolate tasting followed by free time to wander through the town, browse the shops and galleries or simply enjoy its relaxed atmosphere.
We return to our hotel later this afternoon before dinner.

ollowing breakfast, we travel to the famous Eumundi Markets. Enjoy plenty of free time to browse the colourful stalls featuring arts, crafts, fashion, gifts, local produce and much more.
We then continue to The Ginger Factory at Yandina, where we enjoy a tasting and lunch with time afterwards to browse the shop and explore the attraction.
Our afternoon also includes a visit to Nutworks, another popular Sunshine Coast producer, before returning to the hotel.
Tonight, we gather together for dinner.

After breakfast, we depart for Noosa Heads, travelling along the scenic coast road.
On arrival, there is time to stroll along famous Hastings Street, browse the boutiques and shops and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of one of Queensland’s favourite coastal destinations.
Late this morning we board a Noosa River cruise. Relax as we cruise the beautiful waterways and enjoy lunch while taking in the scenery.
We return to our hotel during the afternoon with time to relax before our final dinner together on the Sunshine Coast.

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and travel to the world famous Australia Zoo.
Enjoy the morning exploring the zoo at your own pace, with the opportunity to see an incredible variety of Australian and international wildlife.
Late this morning, we depart and return to Mooloolaba, where there is free time to purchase your own lunch by the waterfront or wharf.
After lunch, we transfer to Maroochydore Airport for our return flight to Sydney, bringing our five day Sunshine Coast holiday to a close.
