Begin your journey with a sightseeing tour of Melbourne’s vibrant city precincts before exploring the iconic Queen Victoria Market and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Venture into regional Victoria to discover the stunning Lambley Gardens and Nursery, renowned for its inspirational dry climate plantings and colourful seasonal displays. Enjoy time in Ballarat, including a visit to the historic Eureka Centre and beautiful Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

Itinerary

Transfer to Sydney Airport for your flight to Melbourne.

Upon arrival, meet your Tour Host and coach captain before commencing a sightseeing tour of Melbourne. Travel through the revitalised Docklands precinct and discover many of Melbourne’s iconic landmarks as you are introduced to Australia’s cultural capital.

Enjoy lunch at the popular waterfront venue Tap 831 before continuing to the famous Queen Victoria Market. Spend time browsing the vibrant market stalls featuring fresh produce, gourmet treats, artisan products and local specialties.

Later this afternoon visit the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll amongst magnificent collections of plants from around the world.

After breakfast depart Melbourne and travel to the renowned Lambley Gardens and Nursery near Ballarat.

Continue to Ballarat and enjoy a picnic lunch in the picturesque Ballarat Botanical Gardens overlooking Lake Wendouree.

This afternoon visit the Eureka Centre where you will learn about the famous Eureka Stockade and the events that helped shape Australian democracy.

Following your visit, return to Melbourne.

Today is dedicated to Australia’s most prestigious gardening event, the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show.

Held within the heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building and surrounding Carlton Gardens, the show features spectacular floral displays, designer gardens, gardening experts, specialist nurseries, artisan products and live demonstrations.

Spend the day exploring at your own pace, attending presentations, gathering inspiration and enjoying the festive atmosphere. A shuttle service will operate during the day for guests wishing to return to the hotel.

Return to Melbourne with some free time before dinner.

This evening enjoy a special two course farewell dinner at the renowned Il Gambero Restaurant in Carlton.
