Our day begins with a relaxing morning tea before continuing to the historic Leichhardt Tramshed, a magnificent building more than 100 years old and now home to the fascinating Sydney Bus Museum. Housing Australia’s largest collection of historic buses, this remarkable museum offers a wonderful glimpse into the changing face of Sydney, with beautifully preserved vehicles, fascinating memorabilia and displays celebrating more than a century of transport history. During our visit, one of the museum’s passionate volunteer guides will bring the collection to life with entertaining stories, interesting facts and wonderful memories of Sydney’s transport past. Discover vintage buses from different eras, explore fascinating exhibitions and enjoy time to wander the displays at your own pace. You may even recognise a familiar bus from your younger days! The highlight of our day is a nostalgic 45-minute ride aboard an original vintage double-decker bus! Sit back and enjoy the experience of travelling through Sydney just as passengers did decades ago, taking in wonderful harbour and city sights along the way.
