Tour description
Celebrate the beauty, culture and rich agricultural heritage of the Riverina on this delightful spring journey to Griffith, one of Australia’s most vibrant regional cities. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards and golden fields, Griffith is a cosmopolitan oasis shaped by generations of European migrants who helped establish its strong wine and food culture. Spring brings the region to life with colourful blooms and fresh produce, making it the perfect time to experience the annual Griffith Spring Fest. This lively celebration showcases local food, art, gardens and community spirit, offering visitors a warm and welcoming taste of Italian-inspired hospitality. With visits to wineries, historic farms, the Griffith Regional Art Gallery and the fascinating Pioneer Park Museum, each day reveals a new side of this remarkable region.
Our journey also includes time in Wagga Wagga and Young — two charming regional centres each with their own story to tell. Wagga, known for its thriving arts scene and picturesque riverfront, offers a mix of galleries, gardens and heritage architecture, while Young delights with its country warmth, orchard landscapes and proud gold rush history. With comfortable stays in Wagga, Griffith and Young, the tour takes in scenic drives through Narrandera, Leeton, the Fivebough Wetlands and smaller towns rich in character. Visits to the Temora Aviation Museum, Cowra Japanese Garden and the region’s many natural and cultural attractions round out a diverse and engaging itinerary. Thoughtfully planned and filled with memorable experiences, this spring escape showcases the very best of the Riverina and its surrounding countryside.

Re: Batemans Bay Hi Debbie, We have just returned from a 4-day trip to Bateman’s Bay with with Jimmy as our driver. I wanted to email to tell you how good he was. He was so friendly and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, and his help / support of our older Ex-Servicemen and their wives was outstanding. He was also very interested in out stories which was lovely. I know we always get that level of service from OnCourse, and wanted you to know that it continued with Jimmy. He was so articulate on the microphone and always had some interesting bits of information about where we were or where we were near. The weather on our trip could have been better, but he did his best, moved things around, found places for us to stop in the rain, and always with a smile on his face and made the trip so enjoyable. His handling of the coach was also something we all commented on. Once again, another lovely trip away, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go on any trip Jimmy was involved in.
