On Course Tours Gift Card Terms & Conditions

  1. Issuer
    1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to On Course Tours Gift Cards (Gift Cards) issued by On Course Tours (ABN 24 670 147 789) (On Course Tours, we, us, our).
    1.2. By purchasing, using or attempting to use a Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by Australian Consumer Law.
  2. Denominations & Use
    2.1. Gift Cards are available in fixed denominations of $250, $500 and $1,000 (AUD).
    2.2. Gift Cards may only be redeemed towards On Course Tours Extended Tours operated by On Course Tours. They cannot be used for other products or services unless we agree in writing.
    2.3. Gift Cards are not legal tender, are not a credit or charge card, and do not earn interest.
  3. Redemption Process
    3.1. To redeem a Gift Card, you must contact On Course Tours directly by telephone or email before making your booking:

3.2. You must provide the Gift Card number and, if requested, proof of purchase and the cardholder’s name.
3.3. Gift Cards can only be redeemed at the time of booking, not retrospectively on existing bookings.
3.4. Redemption is subject to tour availability, minimum numbers, tour-specific terms and conditions, and any thirdparty supplier conditions that apply to your chosen Extended Tour.
  1. Value, Partial Redemptions & Change
    4.1. The face value of the Gift Card is inclusive of GST (if applicable).
    4.2. If the total price of your Extended Tour exceeds the value of the Gift Card, you must pay the balance using an accepted payment method.
    4.3. If the total price of your Extended Tour is less than the value of the Gift Card, the unredeemed balance will remain on the Gift Card (or be recorded on your booking) and can be used towards another eligible Extended Tour prior to the expiry date. No cash will be given for any unused balance.
    4.4. You can ask us to confirm the remaining balance by contacting us via phone or email.
  2. Expiry & Validity
    5.1. Unless otherwise stated on the Gift Card or at the time of purchase, Gift Cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue, in line with Australian Consumer Law.
    5.2. The expiry date will be printed on the Gift Card or included in the purchase confirmation.
    5.3. Any unused balance on or after the expiry date will be forfeited and will not be refundable, redeemable or transferable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
  3. NonRefundable & NonTransferable
    6.1. Subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Gift Cards are nonrefundable, cannot be cancelled, and cannot be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part.
    6.2. Gift Cards are generally transferable and may be used by any bearer, unless the card or promotion specifies otherwise. We may require proof of identity and/or proof of purchase where we reasonably consider it necessary to prevent fraud or misuse.
  4. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards
    7.1. You are responsible for the security of your Gift Card. Treat it like cash.
    7.2. On Course Tours is not obligated to replace or reimburse the value of any Gift Card that is lost, stolen, damaged, altered or used without your permission.
    7.3. If you have proof of purchase and the Gift Card number, we may, at our sole discretion, reissue a Gift Card or transfer the remaining balance to a new Gift Card. Fees or conditions may apply.
  5. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds of Bookings
    8.1. All bookings made using a Gift Card are subject to On Course Tours’ standard booking terms and conditions, including any cancellation and amendment policies and any thirdparty provider terms.
    8.2. If you cancel or change a booking purchased in whole or in part with a Gift Card:
    1. Any refundable portion (if applicable under the booking terms) that relates to the Gift Card component will be recredited to a Gift Card (not refunded in cash), unless required otherwise by Australian Consumer Law.
    2. Any nonrefundable component will be forfeited, subject to your statutory rights.
      8.3. If On Course Tours cancels an Extended Tour and you are entitled to a refund under our booking terms or Australian Consumer Law, we may refund the amount originally paid using a Gift Card by reissuing a Gift Card or extending the validity of your existing Gift Card, unless you are entitled to a cash refund under law.
  6. Australian Consumer Law
    9.1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantees or other statutory rights that you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other legislation which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
    9.2. Where we are permitted by law to limit our liability in respect of a breach of a consumer guarantee, our liability will be limited, at our option, to:
    • the supply of the services again; or
    • the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
  7. Misuse, Fraud & Errors
    10.1. We may refuse, cancel or suspend a Gift Card, or any booking made using a Gift Card, if we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised use, illegal activity or error.
    10.2. If we make an error in relation to a Gift Card balance, we may correct the balance and will inform you of the correction as soon as reasonably practicable.
  8. Privacy
    11.1. We collect, use and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
    11.2. By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of issuing the Gift Card, processing redemptions and managing your bookings.
  9. Changes to Terms & Conditions
    12.1. On Course Tours may vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time, subject to applicable law.
    12.2. The Terms and Conditions that apply to a particular Gift Card are those in force at the time of purchase, except where a change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to you.
    12.3. The latest version of these Terms and Conditions will be available on our website or on request.
